A Letter from the Management
HOTEL DENSTEIN
Management · 14 October 1986
Dear new colleague,
Welcome to the night shift. Thank you for starting at such short notice.
Your predecessor, Mr. Martin, has not reported for duty since Tuesday. His rounds were not finished and his key was not returned. If you find it, please leave it at reception. This is the third time this year. We ask for your understanding.
The work itself is simple. After midnight, take the elevator and check each floor. Every hallway should look exactly like the one on the ground floor. If something is different, ring the bell. If everything is in order, close the doors and continue to the next floor.
Please do not ring the bell without a reason. If you are wrong, the elevator will take you back down and you begin again on the ground floor.
Your shift ends on the 7th floor.
Kind regards,
The Management
P.S. Please do not discuss the noises with the guests.
The Elevator Panel
There are only two buttons.

Broken Lights
A few bulbs are out and maintenance won't come before Monday. Use your night vision (F) in the dark corners.
Quiet Floors
Not every floor has something wrong with it. Don't ring the bell just to be safe.
Small Things
Sometimes it's only a small detail. Check the walls, the floor and the ceiling before you decide.
Going Down
If the elevator goes down, you were wrong. It happens to everyone. Start again from the ground floor.

Amazing Game!
Dear guest,
We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. Guests like you are why we keep the night shift running. Should you notice anything unusual during your next visit, please report it to the front desk. Or don't. It's usually faster to just leave.
